MECHANICAL RADIATOR

A mechanical radiator is an essential part of any combustion engine’s cooling system. It functions by dissipating excess heat from the engine coolant into the surrounding air, keeping the engine within its optimal operating temperature range.
Mechanical radiators consist of a series of tubes which carry engine coolant, and fins which dissipate the heat from the coolant into the airflow. A centrifugal water pump circulates the coolant through the radiator and the engine, and a thermostat valve controls and regulates coolant flow.
When the engine is running, hot coolant is pushed through the radiator tubes. As air is blown across the radiator fins by the car’s movement or a cooling fan, heat transfers from the coolant to the fins and then into the passing air, cooling down the coolant in the process. The cooled coolant then returns to the engine and absorbs more heat, repeating the cycle.

Ropas can now produce more than 2,000 varieties of mechanical radiators, with a capacity of 50,000 pieces per month.

The Process of mechanical radiator

  1. Punching
  2. Expand tube: Place the core of the tube on the machine to extend the tube to fix the cooling fin. The tube must be sprayed with oil before extending.
  3. Expansion: According to the core hight adjust the expansion machine, the header with rubber strip enclosed to the expanded core , and put on the tube expansion machine to expand the tube. Ensure the cooperation between the header, the sealing strip and the tube, and it is required to be firm and not loose.
  4. Crimping: According to the header and water chamber, select press button of the crimping machine, adjust the machine table, then put the water chamber into the header slot, and put it on the adjusted crimping machine for pressurizing the water chamber, After that, take out the pressurization of the water chamber on the other side by the above method.
  5. Testing: put the semi-finished products with water chamber on the dry inspection table, adjust the equipment parameters, the water chamber inlet blocked with the plug, and charge the product with 0.25MPa compressed air from the water outlet of the water chamber,hold pressure for 60s, no leakage, paste the qualified mark on the product that does not leak, and flow into the next process
  6. Shaping and Accessories: Put the qualified product on the table for the appearance treatment and the accessories installation. After the installation is completed, flow into the next process.
  7. Packing: Put the finished product with the parts into the corresponding carton according to the customer’s requirements. Than,paste the logo and shipping mark,be put into warehouse.
